MOVE TO RUNALIO

Moving from Webflow, Square Online or Shopify.

Updated 30 September 2026. Builders change their menus often; if a step looks different, use the linked help article.

Short notes for three more builders. The same safe order applies: save everything, publish on Runalio, keep your email records, and cancel last.

Webflow

  • Content: code export (Main menu → Code export) is only on paid Workspace plans. Otherwise copy your text and save your images. Export each CMS Collection, including your blog, from the CMS panel → the Collection → Export (CSV). Images in the CSV are links that break if you delete the Webflow site.
  • Forms: Site settings → Forms → View submissions → Export all, one CSV per form.
  • Domain: domains bought through Webflow are registered with IONOS in your own IONOS account, so DNS, renewal and transfers are managed at IONOS. Cancelling a Webflow Site plan disconnects your custom domains and unpublishes the site.
  • Email: Webflow doesn’t host email. Keep your MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records wherever your DNS lives.

Square Online (and Weebly)

  • Content: there’s no full-site export, so copy your pages and images. Items export from the Item library → Actions → Export Library.
  • Forms and customers: Square Online → Website → Form Submissions → select a form → Export. Customers export from the Customer directory’s Import/Export option.
  • Domain: in the Square Dashboard, find Domains → Manage domain for DNS records. To transfer, turn off the registrar lock to reveal the Auth code. Changing the registrant’s details starts a 60-day transfer lock.
  • Email: Square resells Google Workspace. Keep the Google MX and verification TXT records, and the site plan, domain and Workspace are cancelled separately.
  • Weebly: review the official notice about regional service changes. If your region is affected, save your data and arrange your domain transfer before the deadline shown for your account.

Shopify

  • Content: Shopify’s own advice for pages and blog posts is to copy and paste them. Files download one at a time from Content → Files. Products, customers and orders each export to CSV from their own pages.
  • Contact form: messages go to your store’s sender email address, so your past messages are in that inbox, not in a list in the admin.
  • Domain: Settings → Domains → your domain → Transfer to another provider shows the authorization code. Domain renewals continue after you close your store, so transfer the domain or turn off auto-renew first.
  • Email: Shopify doesn’t host email, and its email forwarding only works for Shopify-managed domains.

Recreate your site in Runalio

  1. Sign in at portal.runalio.com. Choose the correct website in the website selector. The portal opens in your business dashboard. Choose Design space to chat with your coding agent.
  2. Save the business name, contact details, services and prices in Business details and Services. These manual changes do not use AI tokens.
  3. Use Import Website for a public URL you have permission to reuse, then choose pages and inspect the report. Importing replaces the working design while preserving the live site. Or use Add content to upload your text, brand guidelines, photos or video, or paste written content. Files appear in the Asset gallery; attach the relevant files to the chat.
  4. Ask the agent to recreate the site using those files. Messages can contain up to 12,000 characters. For example: “Rebuild our cookie shop from this brief and these photos. Add About and Contact pages, use light blue and cream, and keep these exact prices.”
  5. Review the actual website preview beside the chat. Use Desktop and Mobile preview, and expand the design space for more room. Ask for color, layout, wording or page changes. AI requests count toward the account’s shared monthly token allowance.
  6. Test images, links, forms and any order or payment integration. Verify every price, claim, contact detail and required privacy notice.
  7. Click Publish website for the reviewed version. Draft changes remain private until publication. Test the public site and send a sample inquiry.

Keep independent copies of your exports. Generated content can contain mistakes, and builder-specific forms or store backends do not move automatically. Do not upload passwords, secret keys or payment card information.
